The Hobbyweight Final. I went in quick after Surgical Strike, after a bit of small hits, I saw my opportunity and I quickly went in to take one of his wheels. He started to move away, and I quickly hit the other. I went in to take the last bit of his wheel but had problems with my drive motors (As usual), and had to use my one remaining wheel to get over and take the last bit. Judges were considering calling the fight but Pete seemed up for a bit more so we continued in the fight. There were a few glancing blows through the rest of the fight, but neither of us were able to get any real bite. Pete was hoping to get my other wheel, and there were actually a few close calls, but I managed to keep driving to the end. Really glad it lasted the full 3 minutes.

Hobbyweight Semifinals. Zandor tried to box rush me, but I managed to dodge him. I had some issues getting the weapon spinning up, but finally managed to get it going a little bit into the fight. I went straight for his weapon and got a big hit sending him into the air. We hit each other again and I went across to the other side of the arena. I got in a nice glancing blow, but then took a big hit from Zandor, which left me upside down. I again had some trouble spinning the blade up, so I tried to put a bit of pressure on him by ramming him. After I had some space, I gave it another try and managed to get it up to speed just in time to land one final hit. Apparently his weapon blade/motor took some major damage which caused it to smoke. Unfortunately he wasn't able to repair it for the next fight against Surgical Strike.

A quick fight. Glancing blows at the start, he tried to slam my weapon into the wall but I was able to get away. Got a big hit that sent us both flying leaving him upside down. Went to flip him back over but noticed my drive motor wasn't working. Tested it a bit and things seemed to be working so I went for a second try but the drive motor quit again before I could. Actually damaged his pulley on the second try. Oops.

My first fight at the event. Linus Pauling came at me quick, but I managed to get the bar up to speed in time and landed a big hit. I went in to try to get a second hit but I guess I needed to warm up a bit with the controls because I hit into the wall instead. His weapon quickly stopped working and I got in a few more hits before I started to have trouble with my drive motors. I managed to get in a big hit and Linus Pauling was no longer working, so he tapped out.
